Sheltering the shelter 

This tree on G.N. Road , T.Nagr, Chennai  looks ready to fall. Its shade is incredibly cool atleast  five degrees less than the intense Chennai heat. No wonder many come under it for shade and rest as the bus stop is practically an oven as its roof is some type horrible plastic that increases the ambient temperature. The tree is hopefully saved before it collapses. She is truly a Karma yogi!

 

Desert blooms to Life!

With Lock down in town I took a short walk recently in the morning close to my home in Chennai, T. Nagar. suddenly I chanced upon this plant in full bloom in the middle of the median. In the eerie silence with hardly a few people in sight it completely lifted my spirit. The plant seem to say that this too shall pass and the city will spring back to life soon..
